Here is an interview Purple Yoshis Page's very own Webmaster had with Mario on 3\28\07

PYP : Thank you Mario for taking time out of your busy schedule to come talk to us
today.
Mario : Busy schedule? Why do you think I have time to play sports and throw
parties? Well, let's go on...
PYP : So Mario...what do you think about this fan site contributed your friend Yoshi?
Mario : It's great. Most web sites are dedicated to me and all of my friends help
me so they really should have websites also.
PYP : Where did you get your Italian accent?
Mario : Italian and me go together. Don't I a-sound cool with this accent?
PYP : Does that have any thing to do with you liking pasta?
Mario : Nah, I just like it. I would tell you why, but my taste buds can't talk.
PYP : Out of all the different things you do, like rescuing Princess Peach, driving
karts, and other things what is your favorite thing to do? Personally I would like
to ride Yoshi.
Mario : Uh...hm....I believe playing tennis was the most fun. Riding on Yoshi? I
like that a lot, too.
PYP : Do you think you deserve just a kiss for saving the princess? I personally
think you deserve more.
Mario : I deserve more!!! Yes, being a hero is hard! It's a-disappointing that all I
get is a kiss after a day of hard work. I just smile and go on with life. I think me
smiling started our love thing, actually.
PYP : What made you decide to become a plumber?
Mario : Ah, me and my brother just wanted a job together. I think he was a-jealous
of me, since I was the hero AND villian in some Donkey Kong games.
PYP : Do you ever get mad at your brother Luigi?
Mario : Yeah, all the time! We fuss a lot! I think he likes starting them, honestly,
but I guess it's just brother fights.
PYP : Does Toad get on your nerves?
Mario : Sometimes...
PYP : Why?
Mario : In earlier games like Super Mario Bros. 3, he just gave me an item and
wished me luck! Then he got a little weird and acted a bit helpless. Now, though, I
think he's gotten a LOT more mature... and smarter, too.
PYP : What is your favorite type of cake?
Mario : Peach's cake!
PYP : I mean more like a flavor.
Mario : Oh, that's not a choice, I guess. I honestly like chocolate. Double
chocolate. Too bad she doesn't make those much.
PYP : How did you feel about your role in Luigi's Mansion?
Mario : Pretty embarassing...I'm tougher than that! I should have beaten those Boos!
PYP : Is there any reason that you don't change the color of your clothes any more?
Mario: Why would anyone care a-so much? But Toad told me that Peach likes red and
blue on me the best, so that's the deal.
PYP : Well thank you for taking time out of your not so busy schedule to come talk
with us! Lets do it again some time!
Mario : Yes, it was a pleasure!!!!! Oh, we're doing another one? Hm! I'm a-pretty
good! But maybe you should interview my brother before he gets mad at me and thinks
I'm too popular again. HERE WE GO!
