I am disappointed to see that I appear to be the only one sending in fan art for the contest...:( It doesn't feel that great to always win by default. In fact I'd rather lose, just as long as there is one other entry. O well, I hope there will be more artistic people out there that will give me some competition.

Fortunately Black Yoshi has started submitting entries too, but even two people aren't enough to run a really interesting contest. It's a shame more people aren't sending stuff in. Hopefully the longer the contest goes on, the more people will show interest in it.

Purple Yoshi's Page is completely free. I was considering paying for a domain name, and a couple of other features, but I decided that it wasn't worth it in my case. I'm perfectly happy with the hosting I have now (www.t35.com), so I have no need to pay. Also, if you're interested in starting a free message board, pyp forums is hosted at www.proboards.com

I'd have to say probably not, in a game. Especially with violet and lavender, since they already have purple. We can only hope though! :/
