Graphics: 8 out of 10
The graphics in Mario Party 4 are nearly flawless, however, they weren't that impressive. I've seen much better graphics for a Nintendo Gamecube game (ex Luigi's Mansion), however, there wasn't much in the was of flaws or blockiness.
Music/Sound: 6.5 out of 10
The music and sound wasn't too bad in this game, however nothing about it really sticks out in my mind. The tunes were pretty good, though seem weak when compared to other Mario games. Also, I was much more impressed with the original Mario Party music.
Storyline: 7 out of 10
All the characters are fighting to be the party star by gaining as many stars as possible. A fairly good storyline considering that it is not an adventure or rpg game, however, the storyline is just like the other Mario Party games.
Replayability: 9 out of 10
Like the other three Mario Party games, Mario Party 4 doesn't get boring quickly. It has an advantage over adventure and RPG games in the sense that it is never the same thing twice. With more boards than all of it's prequels, Mario Party 4 is sure to keep you entertained for a long time. It lasts longer if you are playing with a lot of people.
Amount of Fun: 8 out of 10
The amount of fun you will have playing Mario Party 4 varies depending on who you're playing with, or what kind of mode you are playing. the most fun you could possibly have in this game is if you have 4 players, and all of them are pretty much your skill level. The least fun you will have is playing by yourself. Either way you are guarinteed a good time.
Overall: 7.7 out of 10
This is a fairly good game, however I would recommend some of the other Mario Party games more. I recommend this game if you are a fan of the Mario Party series, or are looking to play a Mario Party game on gamecube. Not the best in the series, though not the worst as well. It is a fun game to play.
