Graphics: 8 out of 10
The graphics in this game are exceptional considering the systems capacity. I really like the look of the characters and scenery. Basicly just like the origonal Super Mario World, only Luigi is different. In SMW, Luigi and Mario look exactly the same (exept for colour), but in SMA2: Super Mario World, Luigi looks like he does in Super Mario Bros2...............I hope that wasn't too confusing!
Music/ Sound: 8 out of 10
The music in this game is really good! There are some cute tunes, and some that are now Nintendo classics. Either way, all of the tunes are great in my opinion.
Frustration Level: 6 out of 10
This game is fairly straightforward and not too frustrating, but like all games, it has it's tough spots. For example, I find Wendy Koopa's Castle (the second half) to be one of the hardest points in the game. But that's just my opinion, I'm sure other gamers would dissagree. Anyway, since this isn't really an adventure game, you can't get lost. That of course makes the game less frustrating, and it's just not too confusing (which of course lessens the frustration level)! If your looking for a fairly straightforward game, this is the one to buy.
Difficulty Level: 5.5 out of 10
Again, this game is pretty easy, but has a few spots. Mostly though, it got such a low score in this category because the majority of the game isn't too tough. I think this game would be great for beginers, or as a first game for GBA just to let you get the feel of the system (and to have fun of course!)
Amount of Fun: 8.5 out of 10
This is a fairly fun game. I personally think that it's amount of fun could be increased if it was multiplayer. I mean, it has a multiplayer feature attached as part of the game, but the main game would be better as a multiplayer game. Don't get me wrong though, it's a ton of fun!
Replayability: 8 out of 10
This game is fairly long, so I think playing it again and again wouldn't become too repetative, but you wouldn't want to play it too many time in a row (that works for all games though). It has a multiplayer mode, and you can play those again, and again, and again................and so on. Speaking of which, the multiplayer mode is a blast!!!! I always enjoy a good claasic mario brothers game against my brother.
Overall: 8 out of 10
I really enjoyed this game. It's very good, and shows you a good example of some of the earlier Nintendo games. Strongly recommended for everyone because it's quite an entertaining game. In fact, I bouht a Gameboy Advance simply because I wanted this game, just to give you an idea of how good it is! Well, anyways, the bottom line is that it's excellent, and recommended. Definitly worth buying it!
