Press B A Select and Start all at once to reset the game.

When Yoshi says "Nintendo!" press B A L L and you'll hear a sound. Now each time you do a Combo or Chain, the stack won't stop rising.

In 2-Player Vs. or Time Trial modes, on the Character screen, press the L and R buttons on Controller 1 and Controller 2 at the same time. Bowser, and several other of yoshi's enemies will become playable.
