Hey everyone, I'm going to discontinue updating PYP again, mainly because I don't have the time while I'm at University. As well though, I get very little fan material and have very little of my own to add. . .and it just doesn't seem to be working out. It will be on the internet until sometime in January when my year long payment runs out, and then I'll save backup copies just in case I ever change my mind. If anyone is interested in taking PYP over, let me know. It would cost about $75 Canadian for the account I currently have per year, and I would like to stay on as a staff member if that were the case. I'm too attached to PYP to totally leave it if it still exists. . . and find it comforting to know that I will be able to bring it back someday if I choose. Goodbye everyone! Enjoy your Yoshi games!

Hey everyone, sorry I didn't end the contest in time. I was working all weekend, and school has been really brutal. But I have a free moment and here I am! So I've posted the results for Caption #11, so please vote in #12!. As well, some You know you like Yoshi too much when and Why is Yoshi the best submissions from pretty much all of September. Sorry if I didn't put yours up for a long time. We have a new affiliate, Nintendo Extreme. Check it out on the affiliates list! Hey hey, today I've added a huge pile of You know you like yoshi too much when submissions. To answer Caleb's question, I'm not currently part of any top sites, but if you can recommend a good one, I'm all for joining. As well, the address for Royston's Fishbowl changed, so I've changed it accordingly on the affiliates list. As for the caption contest. . . sorry the results are so overdue. Goooood morning everyone! So today I got an e-mail from the owner of The Bowser Shrine, and because of the e-mail (though he/she didn't specifically bring it up), I realised that my links page is severely outdated, so check out the updated version. Yeah. . . there's nothing on it. . . all of my links were dead. Feel free to submit new ones though! As well, in the last poll, people seemed to want more downloads, and I thought the music section was lacking, so on the music page, you will now find a bunch of Yoshi's Island Midis. Hey everyone, it came to my attention recently that the July 2003 and 2004 mailbags weren't working (thanks Earthbound). I checked the Way Back Machine, and unfortunately I had screwed up back then and for some reason had July 03 and July 04 link to the July 04 page. So I've added the July 04 mailbag, and unfortunately had to get rid of the July 03 one, because it isn't retrievable. Send stuff in, I have nothing to add!

I've had a couple of things on the backburner, but I've also had a lot of homework lately. A New Super Mario Bros. review and editorial on 2D vs. 3D games should be coming soon, as well as a Yoshi's Island DS review in the future(I'm borrowing it from PY on Friday, and then it shouldn't take more than a week to play through).'Till then.

Today we have two new affilates. One, The Yoshi and Birdo Fansite. They were affilates with PYP before, but unfortunately the affilation was lost when PYP got deleted. Great to be affiliated again! A few days ago I added new Why is Yoshi the best submissions, as well as controls and modes to the Yoshi Touch and Go section. I wasn't able to write my update here, because of some internet connection troubles. And today I've finished up the Yoshi Touch and Go section for now by adding a game summary, items, enemies, and strategy. So yep, enjoy!

Hey, I'm on my reading week right now, and its been bus-ay. I went to the United States the other day and bought a Mario energy drink, which I thought was pretty fabulous. Anyway, fairly small update today. I have a new affiliate, Yoshi Legacy. Be sure to check it out! Also, I've re-added Daisy Dreamland as an affiliate, which was lost in the deletion process. My apologies, and be sure to check it out! There are a few new why is yoshi the best submissions. I agree with you Justin, there isn't enough Nintendo merchandise in Canada. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Today I've added two great new affiliates: Umbrella Angel, and Wiitendo. Thanks so much you guys! Hey everyone, Purple Yoshi's Page is once again open! It took forever, but I managed to re-make everything that was deleted on my account at www.t35.com. The music downloads page was not retrievable, but I'll get to making a new one soon. Many thanks to Lieutenant Eagle of www.smfc.com who is hosting me until April! I owe you one. As well, the new URL for PYP is www.purpleyoshispage.com, so it's preferrable that you use that one for linking purposes. Other than that, you can expect quite a bit of new material soon, as I've got some ideas brewing. It's good to be back.
