Yoshi's Island DS is the long awaited sequel to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the Super Nintendo. It was released as a one player DS game in 2006, and was generally considered to have lived up to the first. Yoshi's Island DS is essentially the same concept as Yoshi's Island, but a few extra features have been included. Most notably, the inclusion of baby Peach, DK, Wario, and Bowser. Each of these babies give Yoshi special abilities which helps enhance the versitility of the game. The main objective of the game is to help Yoshi and Baby Mario save Baby Luigi.
