Graphics: 6.5 out of 10
The graphics in this game are quite primitive and simple, though keeping in mind that fact that NES had such a limited graphics capability, they were pretty good. Yoshi was quite cutely animated, and though they're not the best graphics, all yoshi fans were happy with the way it turned out.
Music/Sound: 8 out of 10
This game has pretty cute music. Like all Mario or Yoshi games, these catchy tunes are always fun to listen to, and help you enjoy the game even more.
Storyline: Not Applicable
As this is a puzzle game, it does not include a storyline. However, it is a fun game even without one.
Replayability: 9 out of 10
This game is highly replayable game. It is among the most replayable of all games I've ever played. When I purchased this game for Gameboy, I was glued to it for hours at a time. You may not think that such a simple game could entertain for so long, but this game has proven that to be incorrect.
Amount of Fun: 8 out of 10
There isn't much to say except that this game is a lot of fun to play. It doesn't get boring quickly, and Yoshi's occasional appearance makes it all the better. I personally have never played the multi-player version before, though I don't doubt that it is highly enjoyable. Maybe even more so than the single player version.
Overall: 7.9 out of 10
Overall, I recommend this game mostly to Puzzle game fans, but also to yoshi fans as well. It is tons of fun, and you really get your money's worth. You cannot come across it often these days, so If you do happen to find it somewhere, I suggest buying it even if it's a bit pricy. It's a classic, and a "Must Have".
