Yoshi Touch and Go
| Score Attack |
|
The objective in this mode is to score as many points as you can. Points are earned by gathering as many coins as possible (pay attention to the value of the coin). As well, killing enemies helps gain points.

| Marathon |
|
The objective of Marathon mode is to try to get as far through the ground area as you can. Your score will be the distance you've traveled since the start of the game. Unlike Score Attack modes, Marathon mode never ends. Every 1000 yards, Yoshi will give Baby Mario to a different coloured Yoshi. It progresses as follows: green, light blue, pink, dark blue, yellow, red, black. Each Yoshi has a different strength

| Time Attack |
|
In Time Attack mode, your objective is to rescue Baby Luigi from the Toadies as quickly as possible. Your score is based on the time it takes you to do so. Save Baby Luigi before the Toadies reach the end of the ground are.

| Challenge |
|
In Challenge Mode, the objective is to travel as much ground distance as possible before running out of time. When time runs out, Kamek swoops down and the game is over. This mode doesn't have an ending point, so the objective is to get the best score possible.

| Vs. Mode |
|
In Vs. Mode, your Yoshi appears on the bottom screen, and your opponent appears on the top. The objective of this mode is to reach the goal line before your opponent.
